Big News Of The Day – May 28, 2012: The vote is in. The top British album in the past 60 years is….

The Beatles?  Nope.
Pink Floyd?   Sorry, no.
Oh, so it must be Oasis?   Um, no.

That’s right, you guessed it:   Iron Maiden.

In a poll conducted by HMV in the UK, Iron Maiden’s Number of the Beast took the top spot of the 10 best British albums of the past 60 years.
